oh no! We loved the message board feature, The best way to track all of our various side bets and smack talk all in one central place.
Each year at the end of the season I would use the message board feature to post historical stats and trends for the league, as we've been playing on yahoo for close to 20 years. Without it, I'm not even sure how to get this info out and have it live forever. we are a bunch of blue collar guys who don't use email much. Please reconsider abolishing message boards! They are the lifeblood of the yahoo interface
We use the message boards in every league in yahoo for almost 20 years. We like to track our history and our side action on the message boards so it is there for us to reference ALL season long, in one separate central location. No message boards would be a real problem for our league - please don't only give us chat as an option. It is untenable for us to use and is not a equal replacement for message boards.
