Yahoo is a great service that I would happily pay for to keep all the features of the last 20 years. Even the original portfolio I still use they are now trying to break?

the old version was better. the new version is much too busy. I don't need all those graphs. I'd rather pay for the old version than adapt to the new, not too much but some. otherwise I'm going to google or ?

I agree with the other commenters here. You took something that worked fine and messed it up. No progress here just change for changes sake.

Everybody who worked on portfolio 2.0 should be fired.
How can you put such a buggy product into production without the ability to revert back. -
Ralph commented
Want to allow users to revert to their Portfolio without Portfolio 2.0 BETA.
-
Ralph commented
Cannot view more than a few lines of portfolio on YAHOO Finance app on iphone because of "Beta" announcement at bottom of screen which will not be removed. App is useless when trying to view portfolio on the go.

I switched to Yahoo 2,0 Thursday. Everything is same until I try to open an article at which my screen freezes, and Yahoo 2.0 is then frozen until I logout and log back in.

Seperate the note and the transaction functions in the pfo 2.0
Definitely, Note is Note, transaction is transaction. Please let me edit my notes directly, not by adding or editing transactions. If I have no holdings for a stock and should write a note, how can I do? Why do u think notes should be followed by each transactions. Overview memo for a stock is definitely needed before starting a trading, then adding transactions and additional notes for pfo management...

Portfolio 2.0 is the worst. How to revert back?
-
Mark Lim commented
Let me edit my notes in pfo 2.0. Recently I changed my pfo to 2.0 as you recommended, but I can not edit my notes for the stocks. The notes are very important comments or things to remember for me. If you have 200 stocks in your pfo, can you remember the particular things of each stocks without coments?

I've been using the Yahoo app to bring together all my accounts from different brokerages. These accounts have stocks I've bought over the years. But in the new version of the app, I can't add existing batches of stocks with different purchase dates without digging up the historical data for each purchase. It's a huge time drain, and I'm not sure why I need to duplicate data that the brokerages already give me. Plus, it's not really necessary for consolidating my info here. If I were starting fresh and input all the dates, quantities, and costs from the beginning, this tool could be really helpful. Do you know of method to do this using existing programming, or can you reprogram to create new way to add transactions that represent batches of stocks with known data?
