1. finance.yahoo.com is not functioning as it used to be (a step backward)

   The search box behaves different than yesterday. Try type UNC or TWO. Both are legit stock symbols. However, it matched to a "private company". I have to type Unitedhealth to see Unitedhealthcare Group in the dropdown. Please reverse the change back to the previous version.

2. Fix Portfolio 2.0 or go back to 1.0.

   Portfolio 2/0 sucks. I can't update my cash holdings, the data display isn't useful, especially the My Holdings column. Please go back to 1.[0 or move quickly to 3.o that looks more like 1/0

7. Do not force us to use Beta 2.0 it's awful

   You really messed up this time. It was perfect the way it was, why wouldn't you have asked users before going ahead and saying you are getting rid of the old Yahoo Finance. It was perfect in everyway. You will be losing a lot of people as that Beta 2.0 is totally horrible and not user friendly at all. I can't say one good thing about it. It's just stupid.

10. Search in Finance returns strange PRIVATE security

    When I search in Yahoo Finance with a stock or ETF symbol such as XLV your search box will often bring up some strange Private XLV security that I have never heard of. It also happens with others such as SBUX or CRM. Please fix it.

11. Contact phone number for unpaid subscribers

    Hi there,

    I feel like we've been going around in circles with this problem and haven't made any progress.

    There is an issue with price chart for VEON on Yahoo Finance.
    I have emailed the problem and have not got any response but "resolve possible issues with your browser"
    I have provided screenshots
    I have tried to give a call to customer support but it is available only to paid subscribers
    I have tried to buy a subscription to Yahoo Finance Plus but it is not available in my country (Netherlands)
    I have tried to purchase the subscription via app but it does not have this "to buy" option

    As a VEON employee I do care that information about my company is reflected correctly, especially on the most popular platforms like Bloomberg, Tomson Reuters, Yahoo, Google. And here on Yahoo I feel I have reached a dead end.

12. It Would Great If We Could See Our Cash Holdings At Top Of Our Portfolio Pages?

    CAN'T SEE CASH AT TOP OF PORTFOLIO PAGES?

    I am trying the New Beta Copy Portfolio you have just released.

    However after changing my daughters Portfolio over to Test the beta Copy Portfolio.

    I added in the CASH, then Saved the portfolio, selected the setting to include Cash in portfolio totals, but you have not allowed us to see our Cash Holdings without having to go back and forth to [MY HOLDINGS], every time we want to check our Cash Holdings.

    Then we have to Scroll all the way to the Bottom of our stocks just to see how much cash we have.

    Why not just give us a running Cash Total/Balance along side one of the Totals on any View or give us the Option to Select "Cash View Option" when we Set Up our Portfolio Views.

    I think it's a great feature to have Cash, but it's no good if we can't see our Cash Holding, without having to go back and forth to the My Holdings Tab, and then scroll all the way to the bottom just to see how much Cash we have.

    I have gone back to just adding in a NZD=X line at the top of my Portfolios and that way I can add in my Cash, and it automatically adjusts to the Live currency rates, and always Displays at the Top of My Portfolios,then when I buy stocks, I just adjust the amount and now I can see my Cash all the time and at the Top of all my Portfolios.

On their Yahoo finance profile (at the link below) FreshLocal (TSX: LOCL) press releases are being incorrectly tagged as (NYSE: LOCL), under Local Bounti’s (NYSE: LOCL) and showing up in their newsflow by in error. Can you fix so that FreshLocal (TSX: LOCL) news isn’t getting routed to Local Bounti’s (NYSE: LOCL)? If not, please route us to the correct contacts to get this resolved, as it is misleading users of the platform and misinforming investors. In the meantime, is there any way we can remove these two FreshLocal (TSX: LOCL) releases (links below) from Local Bounti’s (NYSE: LOCL) profile so that they do not show up incorrectly? 14. I do not find portfolio 2.0 necessary. Simpler is better.

    Portfolio is not necessary. It is a duplication of my brokers efforts. If you have more than 10 stocks it is a nightmare f a headache. Please leave the portfolio as is.

16. Fix error with portfolio summation math

    I noticed that on 5-21-24, one of my portfolios showed a roughly $ 100K loss even though the market had reached an all-time high that day. I cross-checked all my numbers from yesterday's trading day with an X-Cel spreadsheet with the exact data from the VANGUARD Mutual Fund website for my accounts.Plugging in the exact data shown from the YAHOO Finance portfolio, my spreadsheet confirmed that the YAHOO Finance portfolio did NOT correctly add all the data it displayed. In fact, it showed a total summary number that was $ 104,113.04 too low. So, this error has been repeated for several days now. Please check out your portfolio math if you can. Funny thing is that a second portfolio seems to accurately sum up the total for individual stocks. hanks in advance.
    I wish you would not gone to the Portfolio 2.0 revision. I converted some theoretical portfolios to this version and absolutely DO NOT LIKE IT. I will not convert my actual portfolios to version 2.0 and will continue to use the proven version used over decades. Don't ***** up a good thing!!

17. Automatic banning of posts by AI or a individual moderator

    JUst have the respect to inform users if all posts to a subject are going to be rejected. Rejecting "good morning" and "this is a great stock" within seconds indicates the User is banned but you do have not created a pepertrail so I dispute the topic publically - please document if the User Id is banned.

20. Dividend transaction editing, reverse split algorithms incorrect

    Yahoo needs to allow users to modify Dividend transactions and here is why: In Yahoo portfolios, it is possible to adjust buy/sell transactions, but it is not possible to adjust dividend transactions. On a reverse stock split, Yahoo adjusts the number of shares receiving the dividends by dividing the share count by 2 post reverse split (correct action) and increase the share price by 2 (correct action), but it also adjusts the share count pre-split thereby reducing the share count by half (correct action) but the Yahoo algorithm fails to INCREASE the dollar amount of the dividend by a factor of 2 in the case of a 1 for 2 reverse split. The outcome of this error is to reduce the dividend payment presplit hence, by corollary, reduce the total return of the investment over potentially a number of years. This misleads the investor and could potentially have significant tax implications. An example of the scenario is the ticker GLAD who recently had a 1 for 2 reverse split. If Yahoo can’t get the algorithm correct, at least allow the user to edit dividend transactions in order to rectify the algorithmic errors.
