Return to Portfolio 1.0, PLEASE!
I have spent several years customizing Portfolio 1.0 to meet my needs. I use codes and abbreviations to pack a wealth of info into each screen display, which makes the old Portfolio wonderful for my purposes. Portfolio 2.0 sucks. And if your programming staff can't support both portfolios simultaneously, then shame on them.

Recent News on Summary Page Reverts to We'll Be Right Back
You're new terribly slow-loading Summary page's Recent News section has a bug which provides just a flash of the article clicked on before it chokes and give me a We'll Be Right Back screen. This happens more often than not now and it happens across three different browsers.
An example:
The flash of an article appears at the address:https://finance.yahoo.com/news/air-transport-services-group-inc-221514631.html
And then the immediate We'll be right back screen appears under this address:

Thanks for restoring display of data points for comparison tickers in stock charts spanning 1 month or more. However, this issue is still not fixed for charts with crypto tickers (BTC-USD, SOL-USD, etc.). In fact, both today's and yesterday's data points are missing for the comparison crypto tickers.

Portfolio 2.0 doesnt show correct cost basis
Lets say i buy 10 shares of a stock a $10 today. The Cost/Share is $10 a share.
I then sell 5 shares of the same stock, later in the day at $5 a share. The Cost/Share still shows $10 a share when it should now show a cost basis of $15 a share.
On another stock i noticed that the cost/share was $7 and after selling half the shares at a loss, the cost/basis went down to $1.16
So the cost basis, cost/share seems to be totally broken and makes the entire portfolio 2.0 unusable for me.

Help me get my portfolios back. Please.
My portfolios in Yahoo finance disappeared overnight. I assume that my portfolio information is retained by Yahoo Finance. How can I get my portfolios restored? My e-mail address is Lemotnip@cs.com I have never had this problem during many years with Yahoo Finance. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Improvement needed on My Holding page layout for individual stocks in the Portfolio2.0
The previous My Holding page layout for individual stocks was better than the Portfolio2.0
It'll be great if you can make 'Share lots' tab configurable and scrollable.

Please restore legacy charts. Problems with new charts:
- For charts spanning 1 month or more, charts comparing several tickers fail to display data points for the current day for all the comparison tickers. Today's data point shows only for the main stock ticker to which others are being compared. This bug renders these comparison charts useless because today's data points are by far the most critical.
- It's annoying that one can no longer see labels for the comparison tickers unless one clicks on a drop down menu, which often does not show the colors for the comparison tickers…67th ranked -
The calculation of "Total gain" is wrong
The calculation of "Total gain" is wrong, often after some time. Page reload mostly calculates the correct value again, but after some time a false value is shown. This is very annoying. Cash management is OFF.

Dump Portfolio 2; free us to get back to original format
Yahoo Finance was great and easy to use in the original format. New Portfolio 2 does not work. This may be intentional but the idea will backfire. Yahoo was a wonderful companion for us investors but it is not a Must Have. If Yahoo is trying to get more revenue, this is not the way to go.

Please see my comments regarding features removed on version 2 of Portfolio
Portfolio 2 took away a very useful capability. In the "My Holdings" view I used to be able to see on 1 screen, for each lot, the absolute $ value of gains and losses for both the day and the holding period, along with appropriate comments I stored with that lot. This facilitated tax effective buy/sell decisions. I now need to look at both the Share Lots sub-view and the Transaction details sub-view to get that information, and even then I have to calculate the absolute $ amounts. What used to take seconds now requires pen and pencil notes.

New Yahoo!Finance
May 5, 2024. New Yahoo!Finance is unusable. The removal of the portfolio list and other critical functions is obviously the work of non-investors. In 2012 you changed much of Yahoo Finance in an attempt to make it much less functional, and now you are changing much more to make it even less desirable. Just go ahead and shut it down, rather than destroying it by a thousand cuts.

BEWARE! Portfolio 2.0 just deleted all my historical data except for the last 6 entries.
Migrating to Portfolio 2.0 just deleted all my historical data except for the last 6 entries! That's the last straw. I'm done with Yahoo.
First you ruined Yahoo email years ago and I had to find new email.
Then you ruined the My Yahoo page and I had to find a new homepage.
Google left you in their dust and I switched to their search engine.
The only last remaining element of Yahoo that I was using was the Yahoo Finance Portfolio page and now you've ruined that too.
