I do not like the new format.
The grid of many items on a page is confusing. The previous format with a picture in the left and description to the right was easier to scan and digest.

I have no interest in trending news, which is actually a mode of actively rigging what people can access, increasing the statistics for the trending post. I'm interested in new, not trending. For the regular articles, once I( scroll down to that point, it's three huge boxes on the page at a time, not a convenient list to scroll through like it was before. Which is a nasty thing to do with people with disabilities. Your redesign quite frankly abuses people with arthritis, causing us more excruciating pain. Moreover, it just looks like something a kindergartener might design, it's like the website equivalent of ComicSans, all curvy chunky duplo blocks (do those even still exist, they were like giant curvy legos meant for toddlers back in the day). I realize that the trend on all design everywhere seems to be toward that ugly, unsophisticated, infantile design, but I don't quite understand why since I've never met anyone who actually likes it. I'm actually going to be putting Yahoo on siteblock now, and get my news in a more easily navigable, not as biased layout.

It Sucks, I can care less about Hollywood and the celebrities, but that is what is forefront on this page
you should be ashamed of yourself for making that the forefront of your page.
There are more important topics than that
I cannot change the content to put news first. I will be leaving Yahoo as my homepage -

I Can't stand the New Format! Only good thing about it is I spend A Lot less time on Yahoo, and now search other sites (AOL etc.)

Make the new Homepage optional, not the former one.

The new home page format is chaotic and hard to navigate. The original is just fine. I'd prefer to use another page for my news.

The new format is extremely busy and hard to read. Not to mention a significant portion of the content is completely pushed down due to the massive ad right at the top of the page. I understand the need for "ads", but place them accordingly instead of ruining the layout and forcing me to scroll down just to start viewing my content. I would like the old format back otherwise I have to find a new home page default as I simply cannot digest what is being presented to me in this new format.

Based on all the negative reviews, I'd say your NEW is not IMPROVED. Nor is it liked.

Change back to the old format. It was better when compact. Do not need large pics and then lots of scrolling to get to the articles further down. I stopped after 10 articles.

I Agree. The new format is far less convenient and easy to scan.
What I see now is NOT an improvement.........it's no more than an imitation of the format seen on other search engine websites.
There was no reason to change what you had. It worked fine.

yahoo webpage designers need to be fired for this latest iteration of the homepage along with whoever approved the design.
