Rejecting of comments
Telling someone that their comment was meanspirited, should have not resulted with a rejection to post. There are some insulting and demeaning comments that definitely should have been rejected, but weren't. But, Hey Yahoo, it's your platform! I'm out!
Hello. While we cannot speak about specific comments, policy interpretations, or actions action in relation to specific comments outside of with their original poster, we seek to apply the Yahoo Community Guidelines as evenly, fairly, and objectively as possible.

Your company is acting as a petri dish for the worst sorts of racism. You are clearly making the world a worse place and you must already sense this. It all needs to be shut down - people are using this to reinforce very negative ideas and stereotypes and at the end of the day you can't deny responsibility for this. I have resolved to stay away in the future.

Recently almost every comment I make against Trump gets rejected. Even if I do not call names or say anything except facts. your moderator's must be right wing and biased

Would you people at yahoo news please admit that only positive feed back for democrats are acceptable, and negative feed back towards Republicans are acceptable, and all other comments will be rejected, back when you had the guts to put the truth out there, and you had the guts to let peoples opinions be heard yahoo news was a good place to go, now you lost the guts to be a real news outlet and you are scared to death of the democrats and woke, you should end yahoo news or get your guts back because this is not what your site was originally founded on, it was founded on truth fairness and integrity.

Your self appointed "censors" need to get off their high horses and Yahoo needs to fix the comments section of all stories !

why are my comments not posted? i only get this: "Your comment failed to publish:" is it because i don't agree with a lot of yahoo!'s views? that sounds a lot like censorship... just sayin'!

Every time I've posted on a comment on a news piece about trump/maga/gop it's rejected. It's happened 4 times, the latest was TODAY. There is nothing in my post that should have flagged a community guidelines infraction but yet again it has and frankly I'm sick of it. I CHOOSE to use Yahoo instead of Bing or Google, I can change that quick fast and in a hurry if this is how I'm going to be treated.

Don't be such snowflakes and ban a comment on a story because someone says "stupid" or "dumb". My gosh you guys let people bash President Trump all day with horrible comments.

Yesterday there was a news article on the passing of a NYC fireman who helped out on 9/11. A photo of him and the President was taken a few days after that horrific event. In the comment section, many made bogus claims that 9/11 was an inside job. I reported them as false information. Half of my reports were confirmed and the other half were rejected. This is not the first time that this has happened. In this coming election year, Yahoo needs to stand up if they are going to claim that they encourage a respectful online community.

Agreeing with Steve Gaines. I made a response - "Exactly" and it was rejected giving me the same reason.

Quit rejecting comments. You can have AI instantly review comments by programed for key words, but rejecting everything is ridiculous.

The moderation on your Yahoo News comments is a joke. I posted a reply to another post and my entire reply was "Thank you." You rejected the comment and said it violated your community guidelines. I can send you the email or a screenshot of the email you sent me if you don't believe it. Once again you prove why you are a bunch of Yahoos and always will be.

Yahoo hates America, if you make a comment against an enemy of the United States they reject it, Yahoo rejected two of my comments defending the military of the United States because they are afraid it might offend those in a country that wants us dead.
