When someone comments to my comment
Put a link in the e-mail that will take me directly to that posting so I can rebut the commentator's remarks. Otherwise I h ave to dig through 3000+ comments to find it and respond.

Do not Keep up articles where “commenting has ended.”
If “commenting has been ended” on an article, there is no reason for the article to remain up, or, most egregiously, reposted with the current date. I was preparing to comment on an article with the dateline of today (1/1/24), when I saw that commenting had somehow already ended. Looking at the comments, they were from 3 weeks prior. How does commenting end 3 weeks before an article is posted? If an article is worth reposting, the public has the right to determine if it is still worth commenting on. Tell someone why they can not publish comments
When a comment fails to publish for no reason provide a way to get the comment approved. When suddenly someone can not publish any comments at least tell them why. I get very sick of every time I turn around my comments fail to publish when I violated no rules at all. It is getting to the point of really hating your site. Why is it every month I get a notice from Experian that my yahoo email address was found on the dark web with the password when I change it every time I get the notice?

Those cases were not thrown out because there was no merit. Those cases were not heard at all by corrupt courts. There is a difference. Not heard is not the same as thrown out.

Just got a new Dell Inspiron Laptop to replace my old System 76 Laptop. Comment on an article will post with the old System 76 but not with the new Dell Inspiron. Old Sysem 76 is running Ubuntu 18.04 & new Dell Inspiron is running Ubuntu 24.04. Why?
