stop yahoo censorship

Users who write while violating the terms should have posts blocked. There have been lots of users who have figured out how to get around certain rules and post with curse words and hate speech. They are reported and people post complaining about these users and yet Yahoo does nothing about it. If you have rules and regulations in place you must enforce them. If your not enforcing to the standards you (yahoo) have set forth then you should disband them.

It's a pain to block or set up filters. I have tried to set up filters they don't always work but if it was possible to click on a spam email and have it be blocked in the future. It would be more user friendly.

You can turn off the requirement that Facebook Connect be allowed to track me for me to comment on a Yahoo! story. You are not Facebook. Stop it.

How about making it possible to reply/post to a specific comment instead of having to go to the bottom of the post

How about leaving what people like and allow them to add the new stuff. I understand the old mail setup but it changed

Please offer an "Opt Out" button for those of us who post on thread comments and find them hijacked by racism and unrelated arguments.

It would be beneficial to be able to opt out of certain threads, in the event a commenter would prefer to no longer receive notifications of said topic.

Every time I look at my notification Bell..if I try to "View Post" on a thumbs up I got it NEVER displayes my original post! It used to work, but you brain surgeons at Yahoo! have been screwing with it too much! Sometimes I have to hit compatibility view on IE 8,9,OR10 for the posts to fully display. Morons

Seriously, I saw at least 7 Kim Kardashian stories on my Yahoo front page the other day... there has got to be more newsworthy things to cover!

Why do you allow trolls to continually comment yet when you respond the responder get's banded or post deleted but not the troll?

See. Facebook for example. After users post a comment, there is an edit button so you can change a word or misspelling without deleting the whole comment.

I don't know how many times I read misspelled words or articles that say absolutely nothing... please hire better writers. There are a lot of English majors out of work that would work their butts off to write decent articles and could quickly turn Yahoo news into a more reputable news source.

On the profile page, include space for a single blog post with a comment section below. An archive page would be good as well so that readers can view previous posts.

alerts and email post alerts no longer contain links to my comments, so I can't see replies. You ought to put the feature back. The links point back to the articles, and worse, the articles don't contain ANY comments.
