You should make it easy for us posters to notify you of spam. And you should delete them. The spammers are trying to advertise for free.
There are a lot of spammers on your boards. Add "spam" to the flag icon so posters can alert you to them. And then delete the spam. After all, the spammers are trying to advertise for free. Yahoo should charge them and be paid. But most importantly, help us help you get rid of spammers. Thanks.

How long do you think spam-enabling employees would last at Google, Microsoft or any other company where management actually took pride in its work.

There is not a problem identifying spam. The problem is getting Yahoo to assist us with removing it.
On this feedback board, starting with the word SPAM I have made requests for Yahoo's assistance. I have given the poster's name, which board, the title, the time and date. And I close by saying, "Help us help you get rid of spam."
I cannot make it any easier for them to locate the spammers, and I say so to Yahoo. But week after week the spam increases and nothing appears to be done by Yahoo to correct this problem. And I am not alone with this frustration. Again type SPAM and see the comments.
Even if Yahoo would place a message at the bottom of the boards, Like they did with upgrading messages, it would give a sense they are at least listening.
To "spam" the feedback board is a form of protest. The purpose of a protest is to capture attention and create change.
Your suggestion to Yahoo has done nothing, nor mine, or any other comment. To spam in protest of the spamming of the message board is the only current idea for capturing attention and creating change.
My suggestion to you is why don't you do something to get Yahoo to stop the spamming, otherwise, be still.

The best algorithm to detect spam is any post that is followed up with multiple 2 and 3 word responses such as, great find, Looks great, I signed up, ect ect

We need to "SPAM" this feedback board as heavily as the message boards are spammed. Give Yahoo a taste of what we are experiencing.
