The biggest problem is the boards have become useless due to some that have hijacked them. See the DUK board for a classic example.

Block the ISP numbers of chronic abusers. See the DUK board for an example. It is totally useless due to one individual and has been for years.

        That DUK message board is one of the worse ones I have seen. How in the world can the Yahoo Censors not deal with and stop the abuse and infestation of totally bad faith, psycho posts.

        No matter how you paint and decorate an outhouse, it is still and outhouse and the stink still emits.

        reporting it doesn't solve anything. the abusers continue to lock down boards. stopping these folks can't be rocket science. If an IP address is abusive, ban it. If that can't be done, then limit posts per IP address to one every hour or something like that.

        The correct path to handle offensive content is to report abuse! The data from these reports will shape Yahoo's reaction to the abusers.
