With thousands of posts a day, allow users to effectively rate up and down posts like the old implementation. Today's rating system does not work. Take a look at the aapl board for reference. It's nearly impossible to follow a good thread

I HAVE reported the same authors with the SAME threads over and over and they keep reappearing. They are accusing me of "******", how can any MB actually allow this kind of abuse over and over, by the SAME Yahoo account holders??? Can someone PLEASE answer me that!

In the "classic" MB, there was the ability to bring up the most recent twenty messages in a thread in reverse time order. You could go backwards in time twenty messages at a time. This was perfect for reading messages on long threads. Now the only way to read a thread is a nested response tree where you get only a few messages at a time. There is no way to view a thread chronologically any more. Most of the time I am looking for specific information in a long thread and do not care who responded to whom.

How about linking the CBMG message board to CBMG summary?

There are a lot of spammers on your boards. Add "spam" to the flag icon so posters can alert you to them. And then delete the spam. After all, the spammers are trying to advertise for free. Yahoo should charge them and be paid. But most importantly, help us help you get rid of spammers. Thanks.

And by the way obscenity on these boards is increasing. It is disgusting and when I report it nothing happens. I really must shop for a better place that is somewhat moderated that doesn't allow people to post what are in fact extremely obscene and graphic posts as well as some of the worst hate speech I've ever seen (at a level that would be criminal in some countries!)

Yahoo board is blessed with huge user base but Yahoo is actively trying to push people away by creating one of the absolutely worst user interface.

I could build a much better forum for you in 2 months with just 3 students.
