Holy Wow! Yahoo is going down a drain. Can't even provide the most basic services - this error keeps coming up DAILY. Can someone please suggest a basic, functional portfolio service - because finance.yahoo seems obviously unable to fix the most basic bugs.

God bless you anon, your suggestion worked, wow after wasting hourse today trying to fix this.....
for the web address, "ca.finance.yahoo.com/portfolio/", delete the "ca." to make it as "finance.yahoo.com/portfolio/...". This should work.

You might try Google Finance. I wasn't going to use it, but I can't stand the Yahoo Finance Portfolio errors. It fails almost every time.

It's happening more frequently, lately. If you keep hitting the portfolio drop down box for the portfolio you want to view, eventually, it shows up.

I have been having this problem for months, having to refresh dozens of times before seeing my portfolio. I tested out a bunch of new stock quote sites yesterday because I was at the end of my rope. However, after deleting the the "ca." prefix as suggested by someone here, my portfolio shows up correctly each time. Thanks to the person who suggested this.

Are you in the U.S or in canada?
If in canada, try deleting the "ca" prefix in the url, in either ca.my.yahoo.com or ca.finance.yahoo.com

"No fields are selected for this view. Please edit the view to select the fields to display" error message comes up repeatedly and only goes away after 2-4 refreshes for each portfolio. I am using Chrome browser.
PLEASE ASSIGN SOME RESOURCES TO FIX THIS ONGOING ISSUE.

This is a YAHOO SERVER problem, that has been happening for almost a year and Yahoo cannot be bothered to fix it.

It has been doing this off and on for MONTHS. I see this has been "under review" for 3 months. This can't be THAT difficult to fix. Would people keep going to Google if the site returned an error 50% of the time? No. Yahoo Finance is (or was) a jewel of the Yahoo site. It must work flawlessly and sadly it's V1.0 buggy.

It is not the computer, there is something wrong with Yahoo, continuous problem. This is what happens when employees are allowed to work from home, they are all slacking...
