Is there a way to save the chart settings I prefer so I don't have to reconfigure the charts every time I look at a new stock?
Is there a way I can save the chart settings that I use the most so I don't have to spend the time to redraw the chart every time I look at a new stock? I'd like to save my settings of the OHLC bar charts with the 200 and 50 day MA as the baseline instead of the line chart which is the default now. Thanks.

YAHOOOOO...THIS IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING !!!!!
CAN YOU PLEASE REDUCE MAYER'S PAY A LITTLE AND PAY ONE OF THOSE PROGRAMMERS TO FIX THE CHARTING - WHENEVER I SET MY CHARTS WITH THE INDICATORS & SETTINGS IT SOMEHOW GETS RESET EVERY TIME. I'M SURE THIS IS A SMALL FIX.
STOP PAYING MAYER'S SO MUCH FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING AND JUST SITTING AT HOME.

1. Why do I have to reset the chart settings every time I start up? It didn't use to be that way. It's extremely annoying.
2. It would be very helpful to be able to draw a regression line through the data. The formula is simple and can be found in any statistic book.

It is a must have to be able to save the settings. I actually use the above plus additional settings. To change it each time takes to long. Let us know when you have added this feature.

I download the portfolio to a spreadsheet, and flick back and forth, using the code for each share, but you still have to set it up every day you open Yahoo, and it is pretty annoying, when you know that this cannot be a big problem to fix as we already all have saved our portfolios somewhere in a cloud it should be possible to save this little extra information with the portfolio at the same somewhere. Who is working on this review?

I have seen people complain about this for months! How long does it take to fix this problem or is it just going to be ignored because the CEO is too busy with her on site baby day care in her office?

This problem has been present for several months now, and alledgedly under review since February 11!!! In my view this should be sufficient time for review, now its time for some action to solve the problem.

My chart settings don't save anymore either, very annoying. Could this be a cookie issue? I don't allow 2ndary cookies to be saved. Could that be the problem?

How to set up with a "Favorites Bar"?

This is a workaround I am now using since my chart settings required frequent reconfiguring. I prefer Yahoo's tool bar over all others. I have it set up with a 'Favorites Bar' where I save my ideal chart configuration. Yes, it immediately opens just as I want it everytime.

Several months ago, it automatically save your setting if you use Interacitive chart. Now Yahoo seems getting back to their default chart and can't save our setting.
HOPING YAHOO CAN FIX IT ASAP.

It would be wonderful to have the line type, chart cursor and moving averages autosave. I love your site!!

Goes back to mountain and no technical indicator...Does Yahoo give a darn?

I have about 70 shares which I watch - kept on my Bookmarks. Sometimes the Technical Indicators fail to show on the Interactive Chart - just the empty box where it should be. I use Firefox. Any Ideas ? I'm not sure if it is Yahoo or my computer.

Agree! For me too, chart settings keep resetting to Mountain line style, OHLC off, etc.
