Stop the east coast bias. I'm a fan of your sports coverage, but the yanks aren't even the best team in the league. I'm not an Orioles fan but put them in the headlines, after all they are the ones that are hot, not the Yankees. Just show some consideration for those of us that don't live in New York. Thanks

al nitti, the Yankees are not ranked as the best franchise in sports. That team would be Manchester United. The Yankees also do not draw the largest crowds in baseball. The Philadelphia Phillies draw the largest crowds in baseball. The Yankees don't even sell out all their games. The reason the Yankees get so much money is that they are in New York City. Also, their ticket prices are the highest in the league. Most normal people can't even afford their average ticket price of 52 dollars a game.

The Yankees are the most successful franchise in sports history. THEY are the team to beat. They draw the most crowds and viewers, so they make the most money, SO they spend the most money. Most either HATE them or LOVE them. Do you wanna see 'em get beat, or see 'em win?

I agree. Yahoo shows too much bias toward the Yankees. They should be focusing more on the teams that have played well as of late like the Orioles, Athletics and Nationals.
