Don't let people have multiple accounts.
Yahoo, there are many people on the Yahoo forums who hold multiple accounts. This allows them to delete other people's comments which leads to innocent people having heir accounts closed. How is it possible that Yahoo can be manipulated in this way? I am happy to provide ou with the account names of the people who are abusing the Yahoo TOS in this way.

I agree Will; that Michelle is a sad stalker who needs banning by Yahoo.

That certainly would stop Andy Elle from his disgusting treatment of fellow posters...Yahoo should consider this. I agree.

Stand assured that I am always watching though;) I will not post again on this thread so any other Alan Partridges are fakes. Cheers. AP.

Not sure the answer to the problem Summer but there are people at Yahoo paid to solve such problems. My main gripe is that trolls can manipulate one of the biggest companies on the planet and circumvent their software from the comfort of their front rooms.Surely it cant be hard to stop people from deliberately removing comments out of spite? How about introducing a countback system in the software which recognises who is persistently reporting abuse. This can then be looked at by a human who can make a decision as to whether the abuse is justified or malicious?

Bill. The thing is, some people, like me, use more than one account for work purposes. So how would Yahoo implement this?
On other sites, you need to give a phone number, when you first register with them. They then ring you back to make sure it's the right person.
Do you think this would help? Or would these people have multiple phones too?
I actually cannot see another way around this problem! Why should everyone else suffer for a few..very unfair. -

The problem is Summer that by doing this, innocent people are having their accounts closed down. It amazes me that a company like Yahoo do not have safeguards in place to prevent this from happening. Closing down decisions and warnings are based on abuse reports and comment deletions which are recorded by computer software. There is no human interaction at all.

Bill. Oh l see, if they have different computers, that's probably why they can remove the posts then.
I only have one computer, and it didn't work for me. I was wondering how they managed to keep removing posts... thanks for letting me know. -

It works trust me. They not only have multiple accounts, they have multiple computers and there is a gang of at least four of them doing it.

People with multiple accounts can't delete other people's posts.
I have actually tried this and it doesn't work. ( I have a couple more accounts for work, in case you're wondering) It needs at least two different people to remove posts. Give it a go, get a couple more accounts and check it out.
It didn't work for me! -
