It's now Feb 2013 - still cannot edit weather locations (can add but cannot delete or move up or down

The "Options" dropdown does not include preferences or any way to edit weather locations (deleting not wanted)

        Apologies to bwoll. I saw the "x" finally. It was gray, and I guess I was expecting a popup when I moused over it. It does work. Thx.

        bwoll: Doesn't work for me. I've tried it in Chrome, Firefox, and IE. Same results. What browser are you using?

        You can add and delete weather locations in the Yahoo weather widget. Here's how: Click on any of the cities in your list. Yahoo will open a new tab (or window) with that location's weather highlighted. Below the current weather info is a list of all the cities in your list on a horizontal scroll bar. If you hover your mouse over the city, an 'x' will appear allowing you to delete the city from the list. To the right of the city list is a search box that asks you to "enter city or zip code" and press go. Doing so will add the new city to the TOP (first) of the list.

        I still can't change the order of the cities, short of deleting them and re-adding in reverse order, but hopefully those of you who couldn't delete, now can.

        Among other stuff that YaHell is doing, this is yet another issue. bad enough to have to deal with their growing pains in email, and now this?

        This is an obvious error in the application. No ability to delete? Should have been obvious to the creators that you would need options to do this.

        I want to delete a city from my weather block, and there is no way to do so. One either has to delete the entire weather block, or retain all that are programmed in. Help!

        How stupid is it that we can't edit/delete locations? This one's going in the trash bin.

        Well, add me to the list of complaintants! Dang Yahoo! There is NO option to change, add or delete particular weather locations on My Yahoo! at the Weather widget. None! Who did this?! Why!!!! And they HAVE added ones I did not. Dang Yahoo!

        I have exactly the same issues. I need to delete several and add one or two, and I can no longer delete, nor can I move them up or down. When I searched for answers all I found were complaints and completely outdated instructions from Yahoo. What gives?

        It's May and I can't add any new locations, either. I've tried Firefox (version 20.0.1) and Internet Explorer.

        I normally have My.Yahoo running in the background, but if I'm not going to be able to see the weather (so I can plan trips this summer), I'll have to make Weather.com my home page. I'd prefer to stay with My.Yahoo because that way I can see my calendar and amil.

        I cannot edit my weather choices, and (get this) weather choices have edited themselves -- adding places I've never accessed.

        If Yahoo cannot repair I am leaving and going elsewhere. I depend on this widget every day. There has to be other sites out there that can help me. Please fix this fast. I need to delete some locations that I no longer use.

        i wish they would go back to the old way i had no problems with it but when they tried to so call "improve" the system its all messed up

        I cannot remove unwanted locations in the weather widget. I have a blank money conversion table. Seems to me it would be better if Yahoo just disappeared altogether - problems solved.
