I can't figure out how to place a city as my primary weather location. I use Google Chrome on a Windows 7 machine. Also cannot edit locations and delete them. This used to be easy -- now really frustrating. Get the intern off the project and have a real software engineer solve it.

Texas is a big state, and the weather is always changing,,,,,. But you are always there for us. When I'm traveling to some odd place, I look at the weather, then that location becomes my first weather location and I can't get rid of it easily. sometimes I go to Weather.com and can change locations. Sometimes I have to go into my Yahoo account to change it. It doesn't work the same. Please make this easier.

Your Yahoo.com weather is the WORST in the world!! I am sooooo tired of getting weather forecasts and alerts for New York, Indiana, and God only know where else, when I live in Chicago!!! Everyday, it is a **** shoot to see if I get the weather forecast for Chicago or some other city! You are the Weather Channel... You need to get your act together!!!

for years whenever I log into yahoo news it would default to my preferred location, for a week or so now when I log into yahoo news it defaults to Cleveland or Texas or somewhere other than my default... I have to reset it each time.

I too have that same problem. Default is never the city I 'm in. REquested change in default many many times and never sticks. Also would like to know how to delete previous cities I've looked at. I have Windows Explorer 8 and live in Corona, CA. not sure what you mean by actual region from me. Thanks!

I have this same problem! I am using IE9 and I am located in Deadwood, SD. My Default Location also shows Deadwood, SD. However the Local news plug-in shows random other cities mostly from California and very frequently it will show Sioux Falls, SD. Why can't yahoo messenger "local news plug-in" show Deadwood, SD when my Location Management page in yahoo messenger shows Deadwood, SD as my Default location?

OK Yahoo....you now have had 4+ months of people with the same problem. How about fixing it.
You can add me to the list.
Two observations that might help:
1) Yahoo always remembers my home town, and that it should be the default. It just can't use it.
2) more often than not my location Yahoo picks is my corporate headquarters (where our LAN goes through), rather than my actual home/default location. -

Everytime i want to check weather in my hometown it always comes up as Monroe La or Sunnydale Ca why can i not get my hometown? Cab't even get radar for Double Springa Or Birmingham Al, this is getting very annoying. If we have bad weather can.t see it.
