Improve weather forecast default location
It's impossible to change the location of my weather report. I already added my current location, and set my location as a default, but every time I search for the weather it keeps giving me the same wrong location, which I never visited and have no idea how it became my "never changing" location. Please help me! It's very bothersome to have to waste unnecessary time every time I want to see the forecast for my city.

Here's an idea, show the weather where I live, 46784, not Alabama. My computer always shows the Gulfport weather. Why?

As you add a city have the Make Default as an option. Auto alpha cities in the listing as an option, so then you have a default ad the rest in alpha order. Please don't over think it.

I would rather have NOTHING to look at. Then forced to see the happenings in a city I have not been to in 20 years, a city that is 350 miles away from me. The save function doesn't always save. Sometimes it duplicates locations and other times it drops locations. In my case, it dropped Shattuc, Il. US and added a second Tombstone, AZ. US. Could you please fix it?

My weather defaults to my IP address location. I use Yahoo as my homepage. When I refresh my homepage the weather default it the IP addess location so I have to manually enter my location each time, the weather function saves recently used locations to the bottom of the weather browser, but when I refresh the mozilla browser those are erased.

I look at a city and then it is shown on my daily page. I want the city that I live in as my default city always shown. Then, if you want have alternate cities that I can see below on the page. I look at other places all the time, but that does not mean I want to see it later.

The yahoo toolbar always shows me the weather in DC, as does the page when I visit it. Which would be good if I lived there. I live in California. I've set my hometown as my default. Shouldn't you show me that first? Seems reasonable.

firefox 20.0.1 I live in WNY and get Boston MA pain in the buns. Lookin for my region DUH Hit the set default and it keeps what's already there which is of course the wrong area :-(

What happened to the old weather program? My city plus any other city I name...always up there to see...???? I can't even get "weather" to name my right location. They pick a nearby town and have the wrong zip...What's up?

On the weather segment, you have me in Portland, Oregon. Never been there. I need the weather info. for Wynne, AR. 72396. About 2 or 3 thousand miles away from Portland. Hope you can fix this.

I just checked to see if there was a way on DASHBOARD weather report to change the location from Cupertino to my home, Landrum SC. Cupertino weather information is useless on the other side of the country. I just found that at least 89 other people have commented on the same problem. Hope you can fix it soon.

I can't get my location to stay as my local weather . No matter how hard i try the wrong one showes up. I have even deleted the location that comes up but the weather keeps coming up any way. How do I fix this. I never had this problem before.

Can't delete or change the city on my weather list. So many comments and concerns on this site and I still don't see an administrative response that addresses the problem.

have same issue browser is google chrome have had 2 areas listed for years 34289 north port.fl and 19057 levittown,pa . on my yahoo page it comes up as murdock , fl and Florence,NJ and when you click for more detail new page has correct town with the right weather. This started about 2 months ago it is very annoying to say the least . I like yahoo but not this much to aggravating

This Yahoo 'feature' is aggravating, frustrating, and completely unnecessary. Are you trying to tell us that Yahoo doesn't have the technology or technically trained personnel to fix this very common problem? And, how did it get to be "very common?" Who's minding the store?

I am running Firefox 20.0.1. I am in area code 11581 (NYC suburb). I want 11581 = Valley STream to be my default... on the toolbar, it shows Shanghai! Although I have friends in Shanghai, I don't want to have to click to see my own area's current temperature and current weather... Thank you. Would greatly appreciate it if can reset the default.

What a bunch of ****......We have warnings in our area but when we click on your "red" alert box we get a BLACK SCREEN......>WTF> had to go elsewhere to read we have major storm moving in. Thanks for NOTHING......

I agree....fix it so you can type in your zip code an have an option to make that your permeate location logged in or not....Currently when not logged in I get Richardson, TX but when I login to yahoo I get my actual location of Purvis, MS zip:39475
