Very often the severe weather alert red box brings up weather alerts from far away places.
I would like the glitch fixed where the severe weather alert brings up alerts from far away place (the alert box only appears when we do have an alert). But it would help if the alert always had a location listed. That way I will know for sure if it is or is not my alert.
Often when you click on the red 'Alert' button, it shows an alert for an entirely different part of the country. For example, I am in NC but when I click the alert button I get warnings for Maine and New Hampshire.
When there is an alert in my area I would like to be able to see it not alerts for places Im not even near!
When I check the alerts for my area I get them for all other parts of the country, not a good thing.
when we pick a location , leave it until we change it... I live in MN and it goes out east or Ca. ..... wassup with that ?
Go back to the old system... It didnt matter to yahoo what my system info was befor yahoo screwed up so yahoo doesnt need to ask stupid questions about my system, just fix yours.
"Gathering feedback"....Jesus, how long does it take to see it is screwed up????
Yes, PLEASE FIX THIS already!
I've selected cities for the weather alerts which pertain to our life. Today none of them were there and Denver was there???

I have noticed this problem too. Most of the time the alert does NOT apply to our area. Today's, for instance, seems to be for someplace along the west coast with mountains and lowlands, whereas we are in south central Michigan with no such land features and certainly not an ocean shore with heavy swells!
i agree today i have a severe alert showing and i live in wisconsin and the alert shows for utah? doesn't help me much to plan my day
I couldn't agree more. Sometimes I need to reload the page five or six times to get the correct alert. This makes it unusable in severe weather.
