Please, please remove the popup ad that asks that we make Yahoo my home page. It is my home page. Obviously, the ad is not part of smart technology that would recognize if the reader is already a MyYahoo page user. I am, and yet, with every click on an article, every article, it takes time for this ad to load and once it does, It slows the video down until I close it. Everytime, every article. Please, this is so annoying. If it didn't impact my speed, I could look beyond it. Our 6mg service is not enough to handle all of the Yahoo ads, but this one is especially annoying.

When I click on a video link to a news article, please limit the commerical link to 10 seconds. Trust me. If I look at that commercial for 10 seconds, it has as much impact as a 30 second spot. Just say " Buy this product!" I get it. But when I see that the commercial is 30 seconds, or more, I close the browser out. I don't want to listen. I can go to google and find that article in many other places besides Yahoo if I need to see it. IF I'm already in the video section, I shouldn't have to see additional commericals for each link. 30 seconds? Really? And Yahoo repeats the same commercial over and over and over. For each link, the same sponsor. Good grief! That's enough to make me just go to another website to read the news.

Nikki Fenke, as editor in chief, should never use such foul language as she used in her article about American Idol. An otherwise good ariticle, was trashed by her unprofessional use of back alley language. Whether she used it just once or a dozen times is not the issue here. I have always believed that if some one uses filthy language it is because their vocabulary is limited or they do not have the facility to find better adjectives, or both. I notice that Yahoo "bleeps" (*#$%) out that language used by those posting comments. Does it make it ok just because she is the editor in chief? I think not. You people should set the standard. Yahoo is where I like to get my news, weather, commentary and social reading. But if I am going to be submitted to language of that sort, I can find other places to go. I am sure that scares the pants off you, right? She should be glad I am not the boss, because she would cease or find another job.
