your notification bell is malfunctioning badly

the little notifications bell that lights up red keeps telling me there are new replies to a comment after a story. it keeps notifying me for the same story over and over for several days now. there are no new comments and it is reeeaaaaallllyyyyy annoying. i believe that the notification bell is turning red because of activity in OTHER stories but for some reason it is malfunctioning and stuck on that one comment in that one story. again, this is reaaaalllyyyy annoying

        Mine too, it is intermittent, it is showing you have new notifications, then when you click on the bell to open it, it showing comments from way back in August. Yahoo please correct this there is an obvious problem.
