yes,, there are no comments on any articles,
yes,, there are no comments on any articles, it is stupid to ask for a link. They can't control the fact all Americans are not brainwashed liberals, so yaahoo tries to block their customers from commenting. I agree, why bother with this company with their obvious disregard for their customers? They have even closed votes on the person who 1st brought it up.

Blank comment section. No comment section as before, on a single news article. Why is it so difficult to complain.
Make it easier to complain about yahoo errors. Had to sign up for
this, for my voice to be heard.
Comment section no longer on my news pages, Have tried all
suggestions. Used internet explorer & IE( 64-bit ) Also tried
google chrome. Always disable the cookies too.

No comments on news articles
I've been unable to view a news article that includes comment section. What has happened? I've cleared cookies etc and still nothing. My ip address is obviously involved because if I use another computer I have no issues. If I offended someone,, I apologize. Be aware though, I am often offended by some comments and I do not believe it's constructive to censor differing ideas.

Could you please provide us with the article URL which you are not seeing the comment section?
Thanks,

If you are going to have pictures to a story... ADD THE PICTURES
I guess I should be shocked that there were no.. well one picture. Personally, I would totally embarrassed to put my name to an article that was so incomplete. These people actually get paid for this.
Steve Osunsami by-lined: "Lion, Tiger and Bear Make for Odd, Yet Happy Family at Ga. Sanctuary" and the ONLY picture was of a tiger, who knows if it is even the same one. Way overpaid reporter.1 vote -
I HATE being sent to a "featured" video at the end of one I may want to see. Leave me pick ones I WANT to see.
I HATE being sent to a "featured" video at the end of one I may want to see. Leave me pick ones I WANT to see. Unless you stop the video you are automaticlly sent to YOUR video. I hate that. If I want to see something multiple times, I would click on it multiple times. Once it was how astronauts brush their teeth which I was exposed to MULTIPLE times, now it is cell phone adivse. If I have seen it once, I DON'T want to see it again. If you are going to do that, keep track on…

I do not want "start a conversation" when I email an interesting article. I just want to sent the article.
I found an interesting article that I wanted to email to someone. However, I couldn't sent it without having to write a comment. Yahoo wrote "Now when you email you also start a conversation right on the page." "Only friends invited by you & by other participants can join the conversation". I don't want to start a conversation, I just want to send the email, no comment, no conversation, so outside friends involved, etc. Often I am emailing the article to myself or a specific person, so no other people need to be involved. Please give us a way to…

Having an editor review some of the articles before they're posted could be beneficial. I just came across an article about daydreaming while driving that had a caption which implied that "a car was blamed on distracted driving." There's no mention of an accident (although this is made apparent by the image), and an accident is the subject that should be referred to by the "blamed on distracted driving" modifier. A link to the article in question: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/daydreaming-while-driving-more-dangerous-texting-claims-study-014558551.html

Why is it that the ads that appear before the news stories ALWAYS work just fine. But the videos for the stories NEVER do??? So frustrating.
Get the videos for your news stories to actually play, not just the ads. How is it that the ads work 100% of the time for me, but the videos for the news stories constantly say, "Sorry, there's a problem with this video" with a frowny face? It makes me want to go to any other site but yours to get news.

Follow up bar/button for further news on that article.
I suggest a bar that you can enter your e-mail address in or a button you can click (if you are signed in) that will send you follow up articles that are directly related to the article you have just read. For instance, I would really like follow up information on the object they found in the Sea of Galilee but I may not come across it in the future. This tab would automatically send me the follow up/updated article on that story.

Actually show the videos
How about coding your web pages correctly so that when they include a video, it actually appears and works on the page. What a concept! =)
Here's an example:
http://news.yahoo.com/watch-action-packed-trailer-matt-damons-elysium-101000823.htmlWould have loved to have watched this trailer but it's nowhere to be found.

LET'S SEE...IN ON THE HOMEPAGE, OUT ON THE ARTICLE
So YAHOOS, how many times do I have to 'sign-in'?? According to the homepage I'm signed in, but the news article indicates I've been bounced and need to sign in to post a comment or thumbs up. Not to mention the annoying pop up to make Yahoo my homepage. I'll tell you what...I think I'll get a new one. This has been going on far too long and there has been no repair. Your tech help must be in a state of hysterical laughter at your users. Thanks for your disregard & disrespect.
