Hi, please let us know how we can improve News further.

I can 't open in new tab the links. It's hard to read.

I don't like the new look. I can 't open in new tab the links. It's hard to read. It looks like a barbie doll box. I hate it

I hated it the first day I saw it but was glad to see that my Iphone didn't have it. Today, April 3rd, it too has the hated page. I left it on my computer for MSN and have deleted the Yahoo app on my phone and added the MSN one. Too bad Yahoo. Yet another customer on the run!

        I hate it all too!

To get around this, Right Click a link that does have "Open in New Tab" then right click the article you want to read and it will appear.

The can't open in new tab only applies to IE. It works in Firefox and Chrome. That sounds like a coding issue to me. But I use IE a lot and I hate not having this available. Please fix now.

Also, the new home page site layout is horrible. I don't want to see the preview of each story, I liked how all the stories were sorted by category and title for fast and easy scanning. This is a step backwards, big time. You outsmarted yourselves.

i really hate this new format, I cannot open my news in a new tab? The custom news i like to see is full of things i have no interest in. Yahoo has been my home page for many years and I hate to have to abandon it. If this is not fixed I will be forced to seek another source.

Shame on you. Do you honestly, truly believe your users are so stupid that we are going to stick with a website that forces us to scroll through endless content with no ability to use new tabs? No ability to open content in new windows? Did you really think you would improve your numbers, your standing, and your users experience by totally abandoning the most basic principles of web interface design??

What in world are you thinking Yahoo? I can't right click to open articles in new tabs anymore!!! If this is not fixed, I am going to switch my homepage to a more user friendly site. I have used Yahoo since the 1990's and I have never been so unhappy. Please do the right thing yahoo!!!

I couldn't agree more. It's difficult to use, looks like a child put it together, and has all the entertainment gossip listed as news. I much prefer blocked off sections, viewing my fav list at a glance, and the adult format of the previous version. This new 2013 version simply, well - stinks.

I couldn't agree more! I hate the new home page! Bring back the old one!

Wow! This shows a real lack of leadership. Outdated thinking at the helm - which hopefully should be short lived. Wake up captian, iceberg straight ahead. A Titanic mistake. Not surprising with the other Yahoo outdated thinking seen in the news lately.

Posted by anonymous: "Not allowing users to right click on a link open in a new tab is a really dirty trick. It forces users to navigate back to the Yahoo homepage. I'm assuming this is a slight-of-hand trick to pump it's homepage hits stats."

I believe this is exactly correct, and probably the way that the architect of this abomination is covering his own back side within the Yahoo offices.. How sad, rather than just listening to all the users that are obviously not happy with the new product, they resort to dirty tricks.. Talk about biting off your own nose to spite your face, Yahoo...

I seriously just won't even use yahoo anymore. Taking away the ability to right click and open in a new window is too much. Horrible new page.

Same here! I hate that you can't just right click on the headlines like any other normal website...c'mon, yahoo!

ah ha! so i'm not the only person with a problem opening the articles... there's a back way. you have to right click on the article in the "scroll box" below & then right click on the article title above(below the bigger picture) in order to get the option to open in a diff window. took me about 10min to figure that out which is ridiculous to put it mildly. it shouldn't be something i would HAVE to figure out. the homepage also has a chance to freeze on me when i try to go to another site & takes forever to load. hate the layout, hate the excess of that bright purple & everything seems to be scattered. change it back!!
