Not receiving notifications when recieving thumbs up or replies to my comments
I am not receiving notifications from comments, when a reply or a thumbs up is given. i know that I am getting them when I look at my comments I see them there but not on the notification bell. What is going on. It has been lake this for almost a week now !!!!!

1) Which article you were post a comment? (Please provide us with the article URL.)
2) Which browser and browser version you are using (example: Firefox 14.0.1)

Everytime I comment on an article I have to go look for my comment and it shows someone has replied! or liked it. I am not receiving notification like I use too. Please fix it soon.

The problem is that the $@#% ads use up so many resources and time that the comments never load. The comments are last in the list of things the web page is supposed to do.
Part of the problem may be faulty software that substitutes a "click for comments" link instead of the comments. Why are the greeds running the site doing this? Do the ad people want their ads to be uninterrupted by comments?
I have an ad filter installed in my brain, so ads don't work on me anyway. They all look like cans of spam.

This problem has much more to do with ones political leanings than URLs or Browsers. It's censorship pure and simple.

I receive notifications of "thumbs ups" to my many comments - but I no longer receive notifications of any replies to the comment thread I have posted in. Reviewing my post on a few "thumbs ups" there were further replies after mine, some to me. I miss the interaction when I comment. This is an important time in political and social equality areas, we need the interactions in our comments.
I use internet explorer but am not sure which- I think either 9 or 10..

At home on my Macintosh using Firefox, I can see comments but although I used to get two different types of notification - one for just Thumbs Up additions and one for "There is a new response," I'm now just seeing Thumbs Up notices.
At work, on a Solaris machine, I can't see comment threads at all. I have the notification icon on my Yahoo Mail screen but when I click it to go to my comment, I get a plain text page with no sidebars and a list of comments (after i log in, even though I'm already logged in to mail) that are not clickable and don't have associated comment threads.

Hey, hilarious...we're paying for a service on a monthly basis. The very least Yahoo can do is make it available as agreed. It's bad enough to have to put up with ads on our paid service page!!

When I try to give a thumbs up or down I get a message UNDEFINED. Whats that all about?

I can"t get any notifications either. The Icon is there but it doesn't work. Also sometimes I get an offer to upgrade to IE8 which is funny since I have IE9

Well......finally I am up and running and receiving notifications when I am supposed to. Let's see how long this will last.....Hopefully I don't have to come back here again. I hope all of you that left comments regarding my original post here get your situations resolved !!!

So today I get an email saying "TODAYS" activities on your post in yahoo"....mmmmm....well lets see that wasn't today, no it wasn't yesterday or the day before or the day before that either...It was more like 10 days ago !!!!! The fact that since I first posted this now 27 more people are having issues. I can clearly see now that this is not an isolated case. You guys really need to get your act together..It has been 4 days. A trained monkey could have fixed this issue by now !!!

Which article? All of them.
Which browser? Chrome on a window 7 machine and Safari on a ipad. Neither gives any notification at all.
Cleared cache history and cookies. Still nothing. -

Yeah that's correct you don't get notified about Thumbs Up, or replies people have put on your comments. When notifications were working and you clicked on one, it took you to the article but there were no comments shown for that article. Finally; I used to get an email showing thumbs up on articles and replys made to articles. That stopped 8/10 days ago.

It happens on every comment I post. Under my comments it shows other peoples comments, not mine. I use windows vista, yahoo. Under my comments are comments of which I never wrote, or hit I like. I am P O ed.

Same problem with my notification. They either not to my posts or missing in action. I haven't seen any in more than a week and only via My Comments button I am able to read replies and see all the thumbs up or down.
