I don't think Yahoo has anything to do with the problem. Suspect it's a bug in a cookie or something else.

When my first solution stopped working, I deleted all cookies and other stuff. That has worked for a dsy, anyway!

Thanks! I tried pushing a number of buttons, and one finally worked! When I got the screen asking for my Yahoo password, I signed in as another user, used the same ID and password, and it worked--for now, anyway. Curiouser and curiouser.
