Mac / Safari user
Mac / Safari user .... I have noticed a trend of being signed in to yahoo, yet I open a news article and it's like I'm not signed in to the site, no comments allowed, DOES NOT allow me to sign in when I try to comment either ..... this happens occasionally on Firefox or IE, but most often it occurs on Safari, fix this
That the problem of having to sign in to yahoo/facebook/google to comment, even when you are signed in already, may be a Safari problem. I just used firefox and made a comment easily. When I switched to safari, and opened the same story, I was confronted with the 'we don't care if you are signed in, sign in anyway, and then we won't post your comment in any case' nonsense.
Even after I sign in, my comments aren't posted. I'm using Safari 5.1.7
This is getting OLD, people.
I type my comment, hit comment, and get a drop down box: yahoo, facebook, google. I click yahoo. I get a sign in box. Then, often, my post never appears.
Fix this problem. It has been going on for months. Time for your girl and boy geniuses to be allowed to get to work...
Fix the need to sign in for every comment on some news stories... Mac/Safari user.
Also, if I use the "notifications" to check on a comment I left, and from that story try to go to the next notification, I can't. I have to go back to MyYahoo to get notifications to work.
Yahoo - This has been going on for quite some time now. So annoying. In order to post a comment, I have to copy my comment from Safari on my Mac, then open up Windows/Explorer on my Mac running Parallels, login and paste. Please fix this issue with Mac/Safari. Your website is the only one I ever have problems with and it has been going on for years!
I'm an Apple user and have been experiencing this also. It is so ****** up! Yahoo get your ***** in gear and get this fixed, please!!!
Same - earlier comments about this situation.
This has been happening to me on a regular basis. It is ******* me off no end.
