Getting this error when giving a "thumbs up" on a comment. I click it again and it says I have already voted even though the vote count does not change.

It's a software failure, you insane conspiracists. It has NOTHING to do with censure. If there is any "censorship," which is impossible due to Yahoo being a private company and may freely edit comments, it involves vulgar language which is turned into a series of asterisks. The notion that Yahoo edits comments for content is egregiously stupid. They don't edit the content THEY publish very well. It's because there are tidal waves of articles that get published every few minutes and they aren't staffed to edit it all to the quality of a NYT, for example.
The put forward the idea that Yahoo employs tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands, of Yahoo employees reading articles faster than you can type them (which is, of course, literally impossible) is to express a fascinating level of stupidity and a wholesale lack of business experience. It would cost Yahoo tens of millions of dollars a week for a product that doesn't make millions in a year.
Yahoo has self-moderated elements "Flat as inappropriate," "Report Abuse" that allow for users to flag comments. They do not edit for content. And they do not have a political bias they use forums to foment. I would not know that tens of thousands of Americans, for example, think President Obama is a Marxist monkey if not for Yahoo comments, and it seems exactly the sort of comment that would get blocked if there were real-time editing of comments. And, any anecdotal evidence aside, the cost of doing this outstrips any perceived value or benefit for Yahoo. -

100 % CPU usage does not harm anything. The CPU always runs at the same speed, whether it is working full time on a huge job or twiddling its thumbs waiting for a mouse click. The only thing 100% CPU usages does is slow down what you are trying to do.

I don't think it is a liberal problem. If anything I see a growing number of conservative viewpoints on the comment sections and fewer and fewer progressive comments. I am a progressive and my comments have all been in support of the LGBT community as a straight women and equalities and got a lot of backlash from conservatives when I post things. I have been getting the same error. I think clarity should be given to all of us regardless of our positions.

I keep getting Error: CMT-AJ-CPS-REMT on yahoo when I want to post. I was told I am being censored. But I have never said anything bad except that a guy was stupid.

I believe Larry hit the nail right on the head.. My iPad had never locked up, and it just freezes up constantly now whenever I use Yahoo... Reading the error reports, (8 of them now), it confirms safari (Yahoo) as the culprit! I'm actually worried that its going to physically damage my device by constantly maxing out the CPU! I had a smartphone CPU burn out because of an app that was doing the same thing.. Completely unacceptable!

I can tell you what is wrong. The stupid Raisin Bran ad is on the screen every time stuff fails. It seems to have a greedy script to keep the ad rotation from taking it off the screen by eating all of the CPU cycles.

I have been a customer of Yahoo since it pretty much started. I am seriously considering going elsewhere because of stuff like this. Their website never is working.

This was a shortened message from a longer Try Again! message.
Tell us what is wrong, not just Try Again. (Paid user, by the way) -

Same here, I'm moving elsewhere. I'm glad yahoo is going down the toilet and that Microsoft dodged a bullet buying this isht a few years back.

It is not because of your operating system.
It is not because of your browser application.
It is not because of you computer.
Yahoo is causing these errors because of your comments.
Yahoo is selectively causing errors to sway public opinion by grouping similar comments and voiding others, which are not aligned the way they want.
Yahoo is corrupt(ed).
Probably better to get your news and post your comments with a website that actually cares about public opinion and not one with the goal of forming the public opinion. -

how much more description does he need?!!! He's given you the error message and when he gets it. This happens all of the time, too, to many others not just him. Quit pretending you don't know what it is.. it happens almost every other day!
