Quit posting news articles mentioning a photo but never actually putting the photo in the article!
All the freakng time, you guys post an article about a photo of some sorts and then yet you don't actually put the photo in the article! It honestly seems that the only article without photos are the articles actually about a photo!

Another point... When you do have photos, please make it gallery viewable. It is a pain in the neck to have to load each picture separately.
There was an article today called "Obama and Boehner: A History of Hate, in Awkward Photos", all of the verbage was at the top of the article & the photos were at the bottom. The individual descriptions should have been with each photo. Instead you were left with paging up & down the page to try & guess which photo went with which description.

what is more annoying is that your partner ABC is just as responsible for doing this as AFP and AP, they put up articles on yahoo about something interesting, but never post a pictures, and I end up searching on google/bing for the picture

This is frustrating, especially when the item is ABOUT a photo or image and you don't show it. I realize that part of the problem is getting clearance from AP or AFP or Reuters or from whomever runs the pool the pic is in, but that's what full subscription to the authentic wires is all about, giving you a limited license to that content... just like I had when I was writing news and paying for all the wires. It is especially heinous on a RIGHT NOW VISUAL MEDIUM to have to wait to see the pic(s), if at all. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
