You place the captions over the photos and sometimes cover the key part of the photo.
Place the individual photo captions above the individual photo galleries in the big black space above them, thereby allowing us to see the entire photo..

Absolutely kills the picture to the point of irritating just to look at it. PLEASE Remove the text box from the picture, first thing I was looking for was for the X mark to remove the txt. Anything on top of an artistic photo is a sacrilege!

I totally agree. The photos of the Sleeping Beauty art exhibit in Europe had the captions placed directly over the "Sleeping Beauty" model so you couldn't see her at all. Today's space shuttle fly by over California photos had the same problem - in at least one photo you couldn't even see the shuttle itself and in others, it was partially blanked out by the caption. Photos are priceless, Yahoo, unless you can't see them!
