Stop asking for a sign in when I'm already signed in - Yahoo is ******** - ********!
How can Yahoo simultaneously have me signed in at the top of the page AND ask me "please sign in to rate" about 2 inches below the heading that says 'Hi R' and offers "sign out" as one of my options. I have come to the conclusion that Yahoo much have a technical support group that was homeless last week and got three hours of training and were then set loose to work on the system. There is no other explanation that makes sense.

I can't comment on news anymore. All I can do is verify my password, over and over.
It's sad and makes me feel censored :(
Which is strange because many of the other posters seem to be nonsensical racist haters, is this really truly a technical issue?
Will it ever be resolved?

Can't comment anymore?
It's been several days, I can't comment on articles from my computer. I tried every browser, cleared cookies, etc.... the comment section will not show up for me.
I'm still getting thumbs up and replies to old comments I made, so obviously SOME people can see them. However for me, not a single article has a comments area.
Without comments, i might as well go to a different news site.....

Getting this error when giving a "thumbs up" on a comment. I click it again and it says I have already voted even though the vote count does not change.

We're sorry... We are experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again after a few minutes.
MAJOR ISSUES with Yahoo ability to play back videos.
Video Error!
Increased to more than 95% of the videos we tried to watch on yahoo over the last 3 weeks. Was at 0% and jumped up fast. We are on a land line. Plays the commercials just fine and than the video receives the below ERROR.
"We're sorry...

Needs fixing or you will use your visitor base... We are questioning if we should use Yahoo anymore for news or anything.
Please help us stay with Yahoo.

Fix your ******* site
How about getting your site fixed so that when you click to go to comments on a story (from the bug top right), it shows comments? Or it lists the most recent comments, not those from Aug. 31?
I don't want to see my comments on every story when I click the "my comments" box on a specific story. I want to see my comments on THAT story.
Your front page redesign is a disaster. Fewer stories in fewer categories. That means fewer clicks for you. Whoever came up with that should be fired.

quit taking away my saved locations so when I click on "local" for my local news it does not take me to some city in california, or colorad
I cannot access my local news via yahoo. I have my locations saved and my yahoo should show Spokane news when I click on local. but it never does anymore. it always pulls up some city in California, or colorado, etc.

How do I stop the automatic playing of a video? When I have several tabs open, and a video starts, it scares the daylights out of the office

Get rid of the ads on the sides of the screen, they slow down the page considerably, making it unusable
The ads on the sides of the screens on yahoo news (and sports) slow down the page considerably and make it difficult to scroll up and down, rendering the site useless to me while you have those ads (such as Livestrong at the moment). I don't mind ads but when they make it so I can't look at your articles then you're clearly driving traffic away from the site

Recently the "Back" button stopped working on most Yahoo News pages. Keyboard shortcuts to go "Back" don't work either.
I've been browsing Yahoo News daily for years. Recently, when you changed the layout and style of Yahoo News, I found that about 90% of the time, when I clicked on a story link and went to the story page, I was unable to go "Back" to the main page. Clicking on the "Back" button in Internet Explorer produced no results at all, right-clicking and choosing "Back" also produced no results, keyboard shortcuts also would not take me "Back". The only way to get "Back" to the main Yahoo News page was to click on the "Yahoo" link at the…

YAHOO NEWS PAGE WILL NOT RETURN TO DEFAULT LOCATION
I USE YAHOO NEWS PAGE AS MY HOME PAGE SINCE IT IS MUCH EASIER TO NAVIGATE THAN THE MAIN YAHOO HOME PAGE. IT WILL NOT RETURN TO DEFAULT LOCATION FOR LOCAL NEWS. WHEN I USE THE "CHANGE LOCATION" LINK, NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I TYPE IN THE DEFAULT LOCATION, HOWEVER, IT WILL WORK FOR THE LOCAL WEATHER. I HAVE REPORTED THIS PROBLEM SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE RECIEVED ONLY ONE RESPONSE. THAT RESPONSE DIRECTED ME TO USE THE CHANGE LOCATION LINK, WHICH I ALREADY EXPLAINED DOES NOT WORK! THIS CAUSES ME TO GO TO BING AND GOOGLE FOR HOME PAGE. IF YOU…

Every time I go to yahoo news it shows my location in a different place.
I click the change location button and enter my location but it doesn't do anything. My location is East Lynn, WV, US, 25512. Also my yahoo account shows my default location as Tyler, TX. I am nowhere near Tyler TX and have never had an ISP that was in nor near Tyler TX. Yahoo needs to work on getting their services working as they should be. You spend to much time working on ad videos, and flash animations, and other annoying junk that people don't want. How can you expect paying users to keep paying, or attract new paying users,…
