Can't comment anymore?
It's been several days, I can't comment on articles from my computer. I tried every browser, cleared cookies, etc.... the comment section will not show up for me.
I'm still getting thumbs up and replies to old comments I made, so obviously SOME people can see them. However for me, not a single article has a comments area.
Without comments, i might as well go to a different news site.....

Can't comment on any Yahoo! news articles. It's not my browser, it's not my cookies, it's not my pc...you guys removed commenting
I use a few browsers and your commenting section is not there on any of them. It's not me, it's you. (I know, that sounds just wrong doesn't it...)

Why are the News For You stories on my right side of the page ALL sports related?
I would like a more balanced News For You feature on hte right side of my screen. Right now, and for the last few weeks it is ALL sports related. As I am not a sports fan, I find this feature annoying.

Remove sports links from Yahoo News articles
It's very annoying to have only or mostly sports links in the list "News for you" to the right of an article. Others have complained about this already, but Yahoo pays no attention whatever. This just does not make sense. Put the sports links with articles on Yahoo Sports. Give us news links with articles on Yahoo News. When is Yahoo going to correct this impossible situation?

Let me change my vote
There are times when I accidentally click the wrong vote option (thumbs up/down), there right next to each other so it happens. What i would like is the option to at least change my vote once so if this did occur.

Forcing your users to use your 'new', 'improved'' features.
1. Don't understand why you force your users to use your new features you think we would like. I've tried you 'new, improved email' before and within a week went back to the old email. After receiveing an email from David McDowell, Sr. Director of Product Management, Yahoo! Mail saying I will be once again forced to use the new email and the old one will no longer be available I am forced to start searching and using a different email system. Might I suggest BEFORE you roll out new features you should take a poll of your users and…

I would suggest that since my profile location is Nampa, Id., that my local news on the "YAHOO News" page should be the same.
Local news on Yahoo News page will not keep my default the same as my Profile location. It is constantly changing to all points of the U.S.. When will YAHOO get thier **** together? Before or after all the people change thier home page to a different page?

quit taking away my saved locations so when I click on "local" for my local news it does not take me to some city in california, or colorad
I cannot access my local news via yahoo. I have my locations saved and my yahoo should show Spokane news when I click on local. but it never does anymore. it always pulls up some city in California, or colorado, etc.

Eliminate comment trolls.
It would be so appreciated if a user could create a personal list of commenters to block. I get so tired of seeing pithy statements that contribute nothing to a discussion.

I have my.yahoo.com. Please do not use popups to ask me if I want yahoo as my homepage.
I already have my.yahoo.com as my home page. Please check my cookie before you continuously annoy me with your popup bar asking me if I want yahoo as my homepage. It is extremely annoying regardless of my homepage setting but since I already have it set to one page on your site, it's doubling annoying that you don't check first by reading your own cookie. Do you actually have any creative or intelligent people who work at Yahoo? And you wonder why your website and company have gone nowhere.
Ps. why do you need my email address again if I'm…

Stop asking for a sign in when I'm already signed in - Yahoo is ******** - ********!
How can Yahoo simultaneously have me signed in at the top of the page AND ask me "please sign in to rate" about 2 inches below the heading that says 'Hi R' and offers "sign out" as one of my options. I have come to the conclusion that Yahoo much have a technical support group that was homeless last week and got three hours of training and were then set loose to work on the system. There is no other explanation that makes sense.

Turn off the autostart on the videos. I open multiple items so I can read/view and autostart is unfriendly.
Turn off the autoplay on the videos. Makes using them unfriendly and difficult. Even worse, it picks the next video to play and I have to hit back to find the next one I was going to pick. If I am interested in a news subject, I don't want something coming up that is totally different from that story.

Thanks for you put in. Could you let me know which video URL you are seeing auto-play?

I should not have to be required to allow Yahoo to check my friends' Facebook posts in order to comment on a Yahoo article.
I don't remember my Yahoo password or id, because I have a different email. I use FB when I want to comment on articles in Yahoo. Recently, Yahoo has demanded access to my FB wall in order for me to post comments. That is an invasion of my privacy and my FB friends. I have things to comment on, but it should not be a REQUIREMENT that I give you my wall. Today you posted a very irresponsible article linking Newton Shooter Adam Lanza's crime to his Sensory Integration Disorder (also known as Sensory Processing Disorder)- with only a few…

O.C. Register links do not work - need subscription.
In your local news section (Irvine, CA), everyday you recommend/suggest articles to the O.C. Register.
In fact when you open the link to O.C. Register articles it never displays the article (without a paid subscription). It is a waste of time to suggest those articles in my view. Thanks! John.14 votes -
Random id's, posts ignored
This week, you yahoos, when I try to post a comment, make me log on every time, then ignore my logon and discard my post; or give me random if from some other user unknown to me.
I can tell all of your competent developers have been fired or quit. There is a fix for that: STOP LETTING YOUR INCOMPETENT DEVELOPERS RELEASE UNTESTED **** SOFTWARE; HIRE PEOPLE WHO SOME IDEA HOW TO WRITE AND TEST COMMERCIAL GRADE SOFTWARE; FIRE THE JO'S WHO ALLOW THIS **** TO HAPPEN.

Every time I go to yahoo news it shows my location in a different place.
I click the change location button and enter my location but it doesn't do anything. My location is East Lynn, WV, US, 25512. Also my yahoo account shows my default location as Tyler, TX. I am nowhere near Tyler TX and have never had an ISP that was in nor near Tyler TX. Yahoo needs to work on getting their services working as they should be. You spend to much time working on ad videos, and flash animations, and other annoying junk that people don't want. How can you expect paying users to keep paying, or attract new paying users,…

I can't comment on news anymore. All I can do is verify my password, over and over.
It's sad and makes me feel censored :(
Which is strange because many of the other posters seem to be nonsensical racist haters, is this really truly a technical issue?
Will it ever be resolved?
