Tipping articles "You aren't tipping enough" are very out-of-touch with everyone. I've read these 3 times, same wrong story.
The articles about tipping encourage people to tip outrageously high amounts and at places where tipping isn't truly appropriate. They infer that the people who read the articles are supposed to be so incredibly rich they can afford to tip heavily to everyone who even incidentally comes into service contact with them. The most recent one suggests tipping for bad service. I strongly disagree with these articles and think the person who writes them is a moron, and the comments on all of these articles strongly agree with this standpoint.
